Rafael Pastor is a lawyer from Universidad Católica de Chile. He holds a Master of Development Studies at Victoria University of Wellington – NZ and a Master of Public Policy at Oxford University. Currently, he is also the Director of the School of Law and Social Work of Universidad Central de Chile, where he teaches Economic Law I and II. Since 2013 he has been an arbitrator for the resolution of domain name assignment conflicts. He teaches modules on the implementation of public policies in the Master of Political Science of Universidad Católica and in the School of Government of that same university, as well as public management it the Master of Public Policies of Universidad del Desarrollo and in the Master of Management of Government of Universidad Autónoma de Chile. He was the Chairman of the Industrial Property Court in 2016 and Chief of Staff of the Undersecretary of Justice in 2013-2014. He was also in charge of the Intellectual Property and Pharma area of Baker Mackenzie law firm. He was appointed as Deputy Judge of the TDLC in 2020.
