The Competition Tribunal dismissed a lawsuit by Corporación Nacional de Consumidores y Usuarios de Chile, Conadecus, against Asociación de Bancos e Instituciones Financieras A.G., for alleged infractions to Decree Law N° 211 such as pricing agreements, collusion in the determination of banks’ interest rates, and lack of transparency in the collection of interest, commissions and other concepts.
The Tribunal stated that the evidence collected in the process was not enough to prove any of the alleged conducts.
